Extreme USB 3.0 16GB - Poor 12 years ago.
16GB USB Flash Drives

— Worked well initially then started playing up. Copy speeds were a joke. They would begin at 30 Mb/sec then quickly freeze to 16 Kb/sec and stay on that for up to 10 minutes. Then comes up on windows 7 as Error code E0x80070570 when you try and delete the half copied file. Will not buy SanDisk again for my USB 3.0 system.

RAT 7 Gaming Mouse - Very good 12 years ago.
Mice & Trackballs

— If you want to customise every aspect of your mouse including the height of the palm rest, the width of the little finger rest, the angle that your thumb sits at, the weight of the mouse and a lot more. Then you can! The only downside is the lack of scroll wheel acceleration support, for that you need to mess around with third party tools (AutoHotKey).

Editors choice. Smoothly written review with great pictures, and not overly long.

SanDisk
Extreme 240GB - Excellent 12 years ago.
256GB Solid State Drives

— Superb value for money, there's not a lot between the top SSD's nowadays but in terms of price this one's a strong contender, nearly £100 cheaper than the Corsair Performance Pro with almost as good performance. The price difference is due to the different types of memory used. 34nm on the pro vs 24nm on the extreme. The Pro will live for approx double the number of read/write cycles.

— Great as a home NAS - puts many far more expensive "ready made" options to shame.

Why does UserBenchmark have a bad reputation on reddit?
Marketers operate thousands of reddit accounts. Our benchmarks expose their spiel so they attack our reputation.
Why don’t PC brands endorse UserBenchmark?
Brands make boatloads on flagships like the 4090 and 14900KS. We help users get similar real-world performance for less money.
Why don’t youtubers promote UserBenchmark?
We don't pay youtubers, so they don't praise us. Moreover, our data obstructs youtubers who promote overpriced or inferior products.
Why does UserBenchmark have negative trustpilot reviews?
The 200+ trustpilot reviews are mostly written by virgin marketing accounts. Real users don't give a monkey's about big brands.
Why is UserBenchmark the gold standard for users?
Instead of pursuing brands for sponsorship, we've spent 13 years publishing real-world data for users.
